DR. MACHENGETE SHARES BOOK DURING ZIMBABWE EMBASSY VISIT IN CANBERRA

Dr Pastor Andrew Machengete shared his book, Discovering, Nurturing and Exposing Hidden Treasures, with Zimbabwe’s ambassador to Australia, Mr Joe Tapera Mhishi, during a courtesy visit to the country’s embassy in Canberra.

Dr. Machengete described his visit as an honour and said his discussions with the ambassador centred on Christian ministry.

“It was such an honour to discuss God’s Kingdom business,” he said, attributing the opportunity to God’s grace.

The book, subtitled A Narration of Handeyi neVhangeri Kumusha, recounts his journey from a disadvantaged childhood into ministry and the mission’s work of discovering and developing overlooked gifts in rural communities.

Its account connects evangelism with practical compassion, describing efforts to support people whose abilities might otherwise remain hidden through a lack of opportunity.

Dr. Machengete, the national secretary for evangelism in AFM in Zimbabwe, expressed hope that cooperation could help extend the reach of Christian ministry.

“Together, we can win more souls for Jesus Christ,” he said.
